What is Remote Viewing? FAQ

·5 mins

Remote Viewing is a term is sometimes applied somewhat loosely. Here we will look at what it is and what it isn’t, and answer some common questions.

Project Star Gate was used by the U.S. Government during the Cold War. Many of the psychic spies were at Ft. Meade, tasked with collecting intelligence, locating enemy agents and determining American vulnerabilities by using “remote viewing.” Remote viewing is mentally viewing a distant location they have never visited to gather insights on a person, site, or specific information. As outrageous as it sounds, the secret program was very successful and was in use until 1995.

Is Remote Viewing just another word for ESP or psychic perception? #

All remote viewers are psychic, but not all psychics are remote viewers. Remote viewing is a practice built within a laboratory protocol designed to demonstrate, train and operationalise ESP.

  1. A specific target is ‘viewed’ deliberately. So this excludes spontaneous ESP, precognitive dreams etc.: in a Remote Viewing session there is a single target.
  2. The viewer is blind to the target. The viewer is given no information about the target at all. This prevents imagination, existing knowledge and guesswork from polluting the data. This way we know that if the session matches the target, it can only have been because ESP took place.
  3. A record is made (e.g. written or audio recording).
  4. Feedback is given. It’s essential for training for the viewer to find out what their target was and carefully review their session. In operational work, sometimes the target is unknown and sometimes the viewer is not told.

No imagineering or artistic license is permitted in a remote viewer’s work, only the collection and objectification of hard, cold, dry facts – a ‘download’ of information that, in many cases, cannot be acquired via any other means. Psychics cannot do this. Psychics gravitate towards an experience, which corrupts accurate target-connected information flow. The RV trainee is taught how to obviate such pitfalls by executing an ‘end run’ around the subjective thinking mind and manage any reflective emotions that arise during the course of a session. The student learns how to distinguish and separate out subjective ‘trash’ from actual target-associated data. A viewer continuously records the RV-derived data as word-ideas, sketches or drawings (advanced techniques go further), whilst maintaining a constant highly alert, attentive state.

What’s the difference between protocol and methodology? #

The 4 point protocol above is what makes a practice remote viewing, but the protocol does not define how you get your data.

There are many methodologies available to get data within the remote viewing protocol. These are different ways of accessing our intuition. One of the most common methodologies is Controlled Remote Viewing (CRV), of which there are a great many derivative methods as various remote viewers have sought to improve upon this foundation of the years.

What’s the best methodology? Which should I learn? #

The best one is the one which works best for you. They all work, and all method are capable of producing great results. It’s more important to find a teacher who you feel comfortable with and a method which works for you.

It’s highly recommended to learn more than one methodology, but you should start with a single one and master that before you branch out. Just like you wouldn’t try to learn drums, flute and piano all at the same time from scratch: just pick one and master it before you move on!

Is remote viewing just seeing mental images? #

No, ‘remote viewing’ is rather an unfortunate term because it implies a purely visual experience whereas actually all the senses as well as intellectual ‘knowing’ are used.

Can I remote view if I have aphantasia (a lack of mental imagery)? #

Yes absolutely. I know several viewers with aphantasia and they do great. One person even said it helps, because he knows that when he sees an image in his mind it’s not his imagination! Remember all the senses as well as intellectual knowing are used, so there is a lot of scope to get accurate psychic data without seeing or drawing pictures.

How can I try this for myself? #

You can run an experiment yourself. Find a target (use an online target pool), do your session (write down what you sea, hear, smell, feel and think without second guessing yourself) and then open up that target (called getting your “feedback”) to see how you did. It’s that simple!

Oh my god, this is real? How can I tell all my friends and family? #

Don’t. Many people are not ready to accept evidence which goes agains the prevailing materialist worldview common in the West. As what you’re saying is impossible, the only explanation is that you’re crazy.
